Zhi-Ping Liu received his B.S. and M.S. Degree of Operations Research and Statistics from Shandong University, and a Ph.D. in Operations Research and Bioinformatics from Academy of Mathematics & Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences. After a postdoctoral training in Japan, he joined Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences as an Assistant Professor. Now he is an Associate Professor at Key Laboratory of Systems Biology, Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests are within the areas of Bioinformatics and Biostatistics, Computational Biology and Systems Biology, Graph Theory and Combinatorial Optimization, Transportation and Logistics.
