Hong-Wei Liu was born on 2nd, August, 1977 in Heilongjiang, China. He received his B.S. Degree and M.S. Degree from Department of Mathematics, Capital Normal University, and now he is a candidate of Ph.D. in Quantitive Economics, School of Economics, Renmin University of China. His future research interests, will be within the areas of Nonlinear Unconstrained Optimization theory and algorithms, extend to include Theory of Optimization under Uncertainty, Operations Research and Combinatorial Optimization, Bioinformatics, etc.
